BELLEVILLE, ON - Bowling With The Bulls returned to Quinte Bowl on Sunday as kids and families from all across the region came out to spend some time with their favourtie hockey team and raise funds for the Ontario Lung Association. Just a day after a 2-1 win over the Sudbury Wolves, the players showed off their bowling skills and got to know some of the fans that continue to support them.
Young Bulls fans had the chance to meet their favourite players, pose for some pictures and receive some personalized autographs. Lots of amazing prizes were won in our silent and live auction as well.
Funds from this years event will be going towards local individuals in Prince Edward and Hastings County who live with chronic lung diseases and their families. Beginning the day with a goal set for $10,50, Lola McMurter, Special Events Co-ordinator at The Lung Association of Prince Edward-Hastings said the amount raised will be approximately $12,000.
