
Stars Sign Elie to Entry Level Contract

BELLEVILLE, ON - The Dallas Stars have signed Bulls forward Remi Elie to a three-year entry level contract. The 19 year old lead the Bulls in scoring last season with 28 goals and 37 assists in 61 games. Elie, who just returned from the Dallas Stars training camp, was selected 40th in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
"Remi is excited and well prepared to have a big season for our hockey club. To be rewarded with an NHL contract to begin his season is a very special thing Remi and his family. I'm sure Remi will continue to establsih himself among the elite power fowards in the OHL and lead our club in a very positive way this season." said Head Coach George Burnett Monday morning.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Elie will be in the line up when the Bulls travel to Peterborough on Thursday.
