Michael Dal Colle Signs Entry Level Contract with New York Islanders

Left winger, Michael Dal Colle has signed an entry level contract with the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). The details of Dal Colle's contact have not yet been released.

Dal Colle was drafted fifth overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and has been taking part in rookie camp and training camp with the Islanders.

Last season, Michael put up 39 goals and 56 assists in 67 games played, earning 95 points in the regular season. He led the Generals in goals and assists during his second season with the team. Dal Colle was named OHL player of the week for Sept. 19 - Sept. 22, 2013, after scoring four goals and three assists for seven points in two games during the 2013-14 season.

Oshawa Generals General Manager, Roger Hunt said, "We couldn't be happier for Michael to get the signing of his NHL contract out of the way. We are still in constant contact with Michael about if and when he will be retuning as a General."
