The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that goaltender Adam Munro has become the first player from the organization to be called up to the National Hockey League.
The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have signed Munro to a contract. Originally called up to the Norfolk Admirals from Gwinnett on November 19th, Munro signed a second 25 game PTO (player tryout contract) with Norfolk on January 13th.
