
NHLer Larsen Returns to Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have assigned left wing BRAD LARSEN to the Chicago Wolves. In addition, the Wolves have assigned defenseman TROY MILAM (MY-luhm) to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.
LARSEN has been held scoreless in three games with the Thrashers this season. The 28-year-old forward has participated in 101 career National Hockey League games, collecting 12 assists, 16 points and 62 penalty minutes with the Colorado Avalanche and Atlanta. LARSEN has also appeared in 21 NHL playoff contests, which all came during the 2002 postseason, helping Colorado advance to Game 7 of the Western Conference Final against the eventual champion Detroit Red Wings.
Last season, the Nakusp, British Columbia, native shared second on the Wolves with a career-high 26 goals and ranked seventh with a career-most 49 points in 75 games. He also accrued postseason career-highs with seven goals and 11 points in 18 games.
MILAM, who did not dress in Chicago's season-opener last Friday, registered two goals, 12 assists, 14 points and 34 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Manchester Monarchs last season. The Lake Orion, Mich., native also chipped in 10 assists and eight penalty minutes in 19 contests with the ECHL's Reading Royals.
