New Promotions Added to Thunder Schedule

Trenton Thunder News Release


(TRENTON, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, Double A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced on Friday that four new promotions have been added to the team's promotional slate.

Beach Party - Thursday, August 4th

at 12:05 PM - Fans are encouraged to wear their Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, board shorts and have some fun with beach themed entertainment throughout the game. Thunder prizes will be awarded to fans with the most unique beach apparel.

In addition, the first 1,000 kids ages 14 and under will receive a copy of the book "Geronimo Stilton, The Haunted Castle" thanks to Scholastic Books.

Mustache Bash - Tuesday, August 9th at 7:05 PM - Famous Yankees such as Thurman Munson, Don Mattingly and Goose Gossage have all sported a mustache. The Thunder will pay homage to the Yankee stars when they celebrate the 'stache for the third year in a row. The team will honor and recognize famous mustaches throughout history, and fans can nominate themselves for the "Wildest 'Stache of the Night" Award by visiting the Guest Services Center on the main concourse.

Soccer Night-Sunday, August 21st at 5:05 PM - There will be soccer-themed fun and activities throughout the game. This game also features

a Kids Drawstring Backpack Giveaway (1st 1,000, 5-15) presented by TD Bank and all children can run the bases following the game thanks to TD Bank.

Football Kickoff Night - Thursday, August 25th

at 7:05 PM - August 25th is the team's annual Football

Kickoff Game and fans are asked to wear their favorite football jersey. There will be football giveaways (autographs, memorabilia, tickets) throughout the game and football themed entertainment.

Fans are expected to bring offensive lineman-sized appetites to this game as it is FREE All-You-Can-Eat Night. There will be FREE All-You-Can-Eat Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers at the 1st Base and 3rd Base Main Food Court locations for all ticket holders. Fans will be limited to three items per trip to the food court. All season ticket holders are able to participate in the promotion, free of additional charge. This game also features a post-game fireworks show thanks to the Burlington County Times as well as our Thirsty Thursday beer special thanks to 94.5 WPST and Budweiser.
