
New Look Pitch for the Cure Event Returns Sunday, July 15

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Indians are excited to announce the return of the Pitch for the Cure Breast Cancer Event this summer for its 13th consecutive year. The event will take place at Avista Stadium on Sunday, July 15 at 9:00 AM.
This year the event takes a new form, as it will be a Sunday Brunch on the award-winning field at Avista Stadium. Featuring gourmet food from Red Rock Catering, the brunch features chicken apple sausage and bacon, warm buttermilk white cheddar biscuits with country gravy, frittatas, and pink dipped cookies. Additionally, brunch is served with a complimentary mimosa.
All participants will also receive a special edition Pitch for the Cure stemless wine glass, an Upper Box ticket to the game that afternoon against the Eugene Emeralds, and a donation to the MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation to benefit local breast cancer patients.
Additionally, all attendees will be invited to participate in a pre-game ceremony on the field honoring breast cancer patients, survivors, and supporters.
During the game, Indians players will wear pink hats which will be auctioned off to also benefit the MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation and local breast cancer patients.
After the game, Spokane Indians Strength and Condition Coach, Ed Yong, will be leading yoga on the field.
Pitch for the Cure Brunch on the Baselines is presented by Mike's Hard Lemonade, KXLY 4 NEWS, KXLY 920 AM, Azteca, Valley Glass, Itron, Pepsi, MultiCare, Radia, and Big 99.9 Coyote Country. The event will take place on Sunday, July 15 at 9:00 AM.
