
AquaSox Even Series with Emeralds

EUGENE, Ore. - Troy Dixon, Jansiel Rivera and Charlie McConnell delivered RBI singles in a three run top of the 10th inning as the Everett AquaSox evened their series with Eugene Emeralds at two games apiece with a 7-4 win in 10 innings.
The Emeralds took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-run home run by Nelson Velazquez.
The AquaSox came right back to score four runs in the top of the second. Emeralds starting pitcher José Albertos struggled mightily. He issued five consecutive walks and uncorked three wild pitches in the inning before being removed from the game.
Eugene tied the game at 4-4 with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning on an RBI double by Velazquez.
AquaSox starter Orlando Razo picked up a no-decision. He went five innings allowing four hits and two runs; he walked one and struck out five. Jamaal Wade worked a scoreless 10th inning for his first save.
Bobby Honeyman and Connor Kopach had two hits apiece for the AquaSox.
