New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution and NBC Sports Boston, which enters its 11th season as the club's local broadcast partner, have announced the broadcast team for the 2020 MLS regular season. Former Revolution and U.S. Men's National Team forward Charlie Davies joins play-by-play voice Brad Feldman in the booth as NBC Sports Boston's color analyst, with Naoko Funayama returning as sideline reporter. NBC Sports Boston will carry up to 34 of the Revolution's regular season games, all of which will be followed by Revolution Postgame Live.
Matches carried on NBC Sports Boston, as well as Revolution Postgame Live, will be streamed live on NBCSportsBoston.com and via the NBC Sports app for tablets and mobile devices. Authenticated NBC Sports Boston subscribers will be allowed to watch anywhere in the U.S. via participating distributors.
Executive Producer for all Revolution telecasts and long-time voice of the Revolution, Brad Feldman returns for his 20th season as the play-by-play announcer for broadcasts of Revs games. He will team up with Davies, who enters his first season with New England's broadcast team. The New Hampshire native and former Boston College standout enjoyed a decorated 12-year playing career before joining the broadcast ranks. He has served as the lead analyst for ACC Network's men's college soccer broadcasts in addition to roles as host of NBC Sports Boston's "State of the Revs," analyst on MLSsoccer.com's "Matchday Central," and co-host of "Counter Attack" on Sirius XM FC. Feldman and Davies will also host Revolution Postgame Live, a program featuring highlights, postgame analysis, and interviews with Revolution players and coaches, which airs after every locally televised match.
Naoko Funayama returns for her fourth season as the Revolution's sideline reporter after joining the Revolution broadcast team in 2017. In addition, former analyst Paul Mariner will appear on select broadcasts.
"State of the Revs," the bi-weekly magazine show complete with team features and interviews, returns for another season beginning tonight, Feb. 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET, with Davies serving as host for a third straight year.
On the radio, 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ Radio) will broadcast the club's games locally for the eighth consecutive season and feature a 30-minute live postgame show. WMVX 1260 AM "Nossa Radio USA" returns as the Revs' Brazilian radio broadcast partner, providing the call locally in Portuguese.
The Revolution open the 2020 MLS season against the Montreal Impact at Olympic Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 29, before returning to Gillette Stadium for the home opener on March 7 against Chicago Fire FC. Season Memberships for the 2020 season are now on sale starting at $29 per month. For more ticket information, please call 1-877-GET-REVS or visit revolutionsoccer.net.
