POST-GAME COMMENTS

Thierry Henry

"It was not an easy game. We could have changed the way the game went from the beginning with Bojan. Deportivo Saprissa is a really good team that knows how to move the ball, but the players fought until the end. It was a defensive game where the ball was mostly in midfield, but we were able to manage the game. We knew it was going to be difficult for us. We managed to play against a team that pushed us until the end of the game. I have nothing wrong to say on my players' urge to play."

Amar Sejdic

"We had a plan. We followed it and we got the result we wanted. We are building a strong culture. We got the away result we wanted and at home we showed that we wanted to fight until the end."

Samuel Piette

"We didn't have the same amount of possession as them, but we gave them nothing. We were solid during the entire game. We changed our system a few times during the game and adjusted every time. In the last minutes, we felt that the crowd was behind us. It helped us and we are happy to go to the quarterfinals."
