LA Galaxy Week to Precede Club's Home Opener for 25th Season

LA Galaxy to implement week of programming throughout Los Angeles to celebrate LA Galaxy Week in buildup to March 7 home opener against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, presented by Angry Orchard

LOS ANGELES (Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020) - The LA Galaxy announced today the celebration of LA Galaxy Week, a week of programming in the buildup to the club's home opening contest, a game presented by Angry Orchard on Saturday, March 7 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 7 p.m. PT live on Spectrum SportsNet. This season marks the LA Galaxy's 25th year representing Los Angeles in Major League Soccer.

LA Galaxy Week will kick off with a Watch Party at Tom's Watch Party in Los Angeles to view the club's match on the road against Houston Dynamo on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 12:30 p.m. PT. Doors will open at 11 a.m. PT. Additionally, the week will include lighting the Pacific Wheel at Pacific Park in Santa Monica with the LA Galaxy logo and colors, an LA Galaxy reading celebration at Dignity Health Sports Park, LA Galaxy Digital Takeover, player appearances throughout LA and more.

Sunday, March 1 will mark LA Galaxy Day, with fans wearing Galaxy gear at various local businesses throughout Los Angeles receiving discounts all day. A full list of participating businesses and their discounts can be found below:
