Naturals, Cardinals Postponed in Springfield
April 25, 2018 - Texas League (TL1)
Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The tarp never came off the field at Hammons Field on Wednesday morning as the rain forced the postponement of the third game of the four-game set between the Naturals and the Springfield Cardinals. The game sent over 6,000 kids back to school without a ballgame.
Northwest Arkansas (6-11) will come back to Springfield, Mo. for a four-game series on May 18 through May 21 with a make-up date for today's rain out expected to occur during that road trip.
The series finale is slated for tomorrow, April 26 with a 7:10 p.m. first pitch from Hammons Field. Starting pitchers for both sides are expected to be today's starting pitchers: right-hander, Scott Blewett (0-2, 6.82) for the Naturals opposite of right-hander, Conner Greene (2-1, 2.63) for the Cardinals.
Join the Voice of the Naturals, Benjamin Kelly, with a 6:50 a.m. pregame show leading up to first pitch on 92.1-FM the Ticket and the Naturals Radio Network.
