Four by Fowler: Dustin Fowler's hot streak continued with a four-hit game last night. In Fowler's last seven games, he's hitting .424 (14-for-33) with 7 RBI, 7 runs, 3 doubles, 2 home runs and 2 triples. Fowler leads the Sounds in multi-hit games (10), multi-RBI games (5), runs (12), hits (30) and total bases (45).

Just Missed: Right-hander James Naile just missed the innings threshold to enter the Nashville top-10 monthly ERA leaders in the PCL era. Naile finished the month of April with a 1.21 ERA (29.2 IP/4 ER), but needed one more out to reach the 30-inning minimum.

Steady Boyd: Outfielder BJ Boyd has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games played. The lone game Boyd took the collar in was April 25 when he went 0-for-3 against New Orleans. During the 14-game stretch, he's hitting .286 (16-for-56) with 12 RBI, 6 runs, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 3 walks.
