
Namestnikov Signs with Tampa Bay

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights are pleased to announce that centreman Vladislav Namestnikov has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League. A first-round draft pick and 27th overall selection at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Namestnikov stands at 6.00 and weighs in at 170lbs.
The 20th overall selection in the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft, Namestnikov has appeared in 60 regular season games for the Knights this season recording 22 goals and 70 points. The skilled Russian forward was named an Alternate Captain for the Knights this season while at home.
