
Nailers Receive Roster Help

WHEELING, WV â The Wheeling Nailers announce today that they have signed forwards Bo Cheesman and Sean Edwards.
Cheesman, 23, joins the Nailers for his first professional season out of college. He played the last four seasons for Lake Superior State in the CCHA, recording 26 goals and 23 assists in 144 college games.
The 6'2 197 pound native of Peoria, Illinois signed with the Peoria Rivermen after his college season, appearing in two games before being released and signed by the Nailers.
Edwards, 25, joins the Nailers for his first professional season, after playing four seasons with the University of Ottawa. He played most of this season with the Fayetteville FireAntz of the SPHL, scoring 15 goals and 22 assists in 51 games.
The 6'1 210 pound native of Foxboro, ONT started his professional career with Kalamazoo of the UHL after his college season ended last year appearing in three games. He started this season there playing in two games before going to Columbia of the ECHL for one game, and ending up in Fayetteville for the rest of the season.
The Nailers traveled to Atlantic City yesterday for their crucial game tonight at 7:00 PM. They return home for games Friday and Saturday against Trenton and Toledo, both games start at 7:30 PM. For more information call the Nailers office at (304)234-GOAL or 1-877-NAIL-TIX.
