
Nailers Playoff Tickets To Go On Sale

Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers announced today that individual tickets for the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs will go on sale on Saturday, March 23.
Fans can purchase Kelly Cup playoff tickets for the first round beginning at noon tomorrow at the Wheeling Civic Center Box Office. Playoff tickets are subject to a $2 increase over the regular season gate ticket price, as mandated by the East Coast Hockey League.
Should the Nailers qualify for the 2002 playoffs, it will be the first time since the 1997-98 season. In the 1998 playoffs, the Nailers, coached by Peter Laviolette, lost to the Hampton Roads Admirals in the Northern Conference Finals 4 games to 2. The Hampton Roads Admirals, led by Coach John Brophy, went on the win the 1998 Kelly Cup defeating the Pensacola Ice Pilots 4 games to 2.
The Nailers host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies Friday night at 7:30 pm for NASCAR Night sponsored by Gary's Body Shop, Coca-Cola, and WTOV-9. On Saturday night, the Nailers host the Toledo Storm at 7:30 pm for Beach Party Night featuring "The Buffett Man."
