Nailers Opening Training Camp October 5th

WHEELING,WV - The Wheeling Nailers will open their sixteenth training camp on Friday, October 5th at WesBanco Arena. The first team practice will take place at 10:00am on Saturday October 6th.
The Nailers will spend 12 days in preparation for the 2007-2008 campaign, which gets underway when Wheeling travels to the Johnstown Chiefs on October 18th. They will play preseason games against the Chiefs (Oct. 12th in Johnstown, Oct. 13th at Home) as tune-ups for the season.
All practices held at WesBanco Arena are open to the general public. A full training camp schedule follows this release.
The Nailers will open the ECHL's 20th Anniversary season with a game against the Johnstown Chiefs on Oct. 18th. It will be a rematch of Game 7 from the first-ever ECHL Finals. Wheeling will open their home schedule on Oct. 26 against the South Carolina Stingrays.
