Royals Seek To Reprise Holiday Cheer With 'Season of Giving' Ticket Program

September 28, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today re-instituted the team's Season of Giving ticket program, which last season served to help over 700 people attend Royals' games during the holiday season who otherwise may not have had that opportunity. Under the SOG Program, the Royals will match one-for-one every ticket purchased for charitable organizations to any one of the Royals' six home games during the upcoming holiday season, from December 5 through December 28, 2007. As an example, if an individual or business entity purchases ten tickets to one of these games for a charity of their choice, the Royals will deliver a total of twenty tickets to that charity.

It is extremely simple to participate in the Royals' SOG Program. Just fill out the SOG Form found on the Royals' website (https://www.royalshockey.com/tickets/2007SeasonofGiving.asp) and return it to the team's Ticket Manager, Besty Roxburgh (610-898-7225; fax: 610-898-4625; broxburgh@royalshockey.com). The Royals will take care of the rest. If you want to participate in the SOG program but do not have a specific charity in mind, the Royals have an extensive network of charities with which the team has historically worked, including the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, the Children's Home of Reading, Berks Women In Crisis, and many others. The Royals will gladly work with you to select a charity in need.

In addition to bringing joy to others during this holiday season, participants in the SOG program get a couple of goodies of their own. The Royals will give two complimentary tickets to any SOG participant who purchases ten or more tickets, and every SOG participant will receive an autographed puck, recognition on the Sovereign Center video board during the December games, and a thank you letter from the Royals acknowledging participation in the program.

The Royals want to thank our friends, fans and business partners in advance for participating in the Season of Giving Program. The Royals' home opener is on Saturday, November 3, 2007, against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Royals' full Season Tickets and Total Choice Flex Plans are now on sale. To obtain more information on becoming a part of Royals' hockey, call 610-898-PUCK to speak with Royals' ticket representative or visit the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com.
