
Mystics to Hold Second Annual Sports & Entertainment Career Fair

Washington, D.C. -The Washington Mystics, in partnership with Westwood College, will hold its second annual sports and entertainment career fair at Verizon Center on Thursday, September 3 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Participants will have a chance to hear from various industry experts including Buffy Filippell, President of teamworkonline.com, Bill Sutton, Principle of Bill Sutton & associates and Jim Van Stone, Vice President of ticket sales for the Washington Capitals. Admission to the career fair is $25 in advance and $35 at the door and includes a ticket to that night's game vs. Seattle Storm.
The Washington Mystics, Washington Capitals and the Washington Wizards will be conducting on site interviews for various positions. In addition, various companies such as the PGA, the Washington Nationals, the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, XM radio, Turner Construction and Verizon Wireless will be in attendance. Season tickets for the 2009 and 2010 seasons as well as group tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mystics Sales Office at 1-877-DC-HOOP1 or by visiting the Mystics web site at www.washingtonmystics.com.
