With the win, the mystics are off to their best start (5-1) through six games since the 2018 season when the team also compiled a 5-1 record.

The Mystics bench outscored Atlanta's 25 to 10. Washington is now 3-1 when outscoring their opponents' bench.

Washington outrebounded Atlanta 33 to 26 and are now 4-1 when outrebounding their opponents on the season.

With the win, Washington is now 3-0 on the road this season. This marks the first time the team has started 3-0 in away games since the 2015 season.

The Mystics are now 2-0 in Commissioner's Cup games this season.

Washington guard Ariel Atkins scored a team-high 18 points (6-10 FG) and has now scored 15+ points in four total games this season.

Mystics rookie center Shakira Austin netted 10 points and added seven rebounds to her stat line.

Austin has now recorded at least 10+ points and 5+ rebounds in a single game three times this season.

Washington guard Natasha Cloud dished out a team-high five assists and has now recorded at least 5+ assists in a franchise record EIGHT consecutive games dating back to last season.

Mystics center/forward Elizabeth Williams made her Wizards debut, notching five rebounds and one block in 15 minutes of action.
