Mudcats transactions for August 6

Carolina Mudcats News Release

Zebulon, NC --- Prior to last night's game, the Cincinnati Reds made one roster move impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats.

LHP Philippe Valiquette was placed on the seven-day disabled list with a left shoulder strain. The move is retroactive to August 3rd. No corresponding roster move was made.

The Mudcats' roster currently sits at 23, one shy of the Southern League maximum.

Carolina continues its 10-game road trip tonight with the series opener at West Tenn.
