Chattanooga, Tenn. - James Tomlin hit an RBI double to complete a two-out, ninth inning rally for the Chattanooga Lookouts (53-57, 23-18) in a 3-2 victory over the Jacksonville Suns (63-48, 28-13) in front of 2,796 Thursday night at AT&T Field.

Lookouts reliever Matt Sartor (4-4) picked up the victory after two-thirds of an inning in relief. Suns closer Matt Peterson (3-4) blew his fifth save of the season while allowing the two ninth inning runs.

Jacksonville opened the scoring in the first inning against Chattanooga spot starter Jesus Rodriguez. Logan Morrison reached on a broken bat single with two out and came around to score on a Scott Cousins double for a 1-0 lead.

Chattanooga tied the game in the third inning against Suns starter Graham Taylor. With an 0-2 count, Adam Godwin was hit by a pitch from Taylor. With two out, Godwin came in to score on a Ramon Nivar double for a 1-1 game.

The Suns opened the lead in the top of the fourth inning as Kevin Randel led off with his ninth homerun of the season, extending the lead to 2-1.

Jacksonville carried the lead into the ninth inning, sending the league-leading closer Matt Peterson to the mound. Russ Mitchell reached on a one-out walk and moved to second on a groundout. Vinny Rottino then hit a high chopper just out of the reach of shortstop Ryan Klosterman allowing Mitchell to score the tying run. James Tomlin then hit a hard groundball behind third base that took an awkward bounce over diving third baseman Matt Dominguez and rolled into the corner. Rottino beat left fielder Bryan Petersen's throw for a 3-2 final.

Suns RH Nic Ungs will face Lookouts RH Jesus Castillo Friday at 7:15 p.m. Live radio20coverage is available on WFXJ-AM 930 and online at 930thefox.com.
