Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have announced a series of roster moves affecting the Double-A Carolina Mudcats.
IF Frank Moore has been promoted to Carolina from High-A Jupiter, and will be in uniform for tonight's game with Tennessee. OF Jose Campusano has been placed on the disabled list with a right hamstring strain, retroactive to May 30th. Those moves maintain Carolina's 23-man roster.
Following last night's game, RHP Mike McNutt announced his retirement. McNutt was activated from the disabled list prior to Monday's contest, and pitched two innings on Tuesday night, allowing three runs in the seventh, and pitching a perfect eighth inning. McNutt had been recovering from a small tear in a tendon of his right forearm.
