BOSSIER CITY, LA - How would you like to go out for dinner and have Ken Carroll take your order? Or what if Brett Smith brought your food? How about if Joe Blaznek poured you a cold one? It can happen on Wednesday, February 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm when Mudbugs players become celebrity waiters at Buffalo Wild Wings on the Louisiana Boardwalk for "Bugs at Your Service".
The event will be a great chance to meet the Mudbugs while you eat a fantastic BWW meal, and it also benefits a good cause! All tip money collected by the players during the event will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Just like all Wednesdays at Buffalo Wild Wings, February 17 will be BWW "Kids Night", when children 12 and under can get a kids meal for only $1.99! Bring the family for an affordable night out and get an autograph or have your picture taken with your favorite Mudbugs player at Buffalo Wild Wings!
JDRF is the worldwide leader for research to cure type 1 diabetes. It sets the global agenda for diabetes research, and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly, and can be fatal.
The Mudbugs are back on the ice this weekend to host the Wichita Thunder on Friday and the Texas Brahmas on Saturday at 7:05 pm. Group ticket packages and mini-plans for both games are available now through the Mudbugs office at 752-BUGS, while individual tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster at 741-9700 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
