
Mother nature doesn't cooperate with Gnats

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Thursday's Sand Gnats game against Rome has been postponed due to heavy rain and wet field conditions. The game, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. is scheduled to be made up Friday as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5 p.m. Each game will consist of seven innings.
This is the first rainout at Grayson Stadium this season. It will also be the first doubleheader held at home in 2008.
All tickets from Thursday's scheduled game can be used at Friday night's game or any other remaining Sand Gnats home game this season. Friday night is a Fireworks Friday presented by KIX96 with fireworks after the game. Starting pitchers for tomorrow night's contest have not been announced.
