
Morrison Visits With Suns For Five-Game Series in Pensacola

When the Jacksonville Suns come to Pensacola for a five-game series with the Blue Wahoos starting on Tuesday, they will have Marlins' first baseman Logan Morrison with them. Morrison is on a Major League rehab assignment following offseason knee surgery.
Jacksonville is the second leg of his journey back to Miami. The 25-year-old played in six games for the Jupiter Hammerheads prior to joining the Suns on his assignment.
Coming into this season, Morrison owns a .250 average in his Major League career, adding 36 homers and 126 RBI in 278 games for the Marlins. He was selected by the Marlins in the 22nd round of the 2005 Draft.
The two teams open the five-game set with a Team Tuesday at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Select players from the Blue Wahoos will be signing autographs on the concourse before the game. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. first pitch.
