Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
Atlantic City, NJ â Bullies forward Jason Notermann tallied the game's only goal and goaltender Jake Moreland stopped all 37 Reading shots to lead the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies to a 1-0 victory over the Reading Royals before 2100 at Historic Boardwalk Hall in ECHL action on Saturday.
Notermann gave the Bullies (2-2-0) a 1-0 lead and the eventual game-winning goal at 5:47 of the first period on the power play when from behind the net, he tipped the puck over the crossbar and off the back of Reading goaltender Barry Brust. Moreland took over after and the Bullies defense killed off 4 Reading power plays. Reading (0-3-0) out-shot the Bullies 37-24. The Bullies went 1-3 on the power play.
Atlantic City travels to Wheeling to battle the Nailers at 7PM tomorrow at WesBanco Arena. Catch all the action beginning with "Bullies Countdown" at 6:40PM on ESPN Radio 1450AM.
