Chiefs Lose in Extra Session For Second Straight Night

Johnstown, PA- For the second straight game the Johnstown Chiefs could not solve the Pee Dee Pride as they fell in a shout 5-4 Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Brian Collins had two goals and an assist to lead the Pride. Jan Vodrazka and Michael Chin also scored for Pee Dee. The Chiefs got goals from Shawn Mather, Steve Hildenbrand, Joe Tallari and Jean Desrochers.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 16 saves in the game. Sebastien Laplante got the win making 15 saves. Nic Boucher started the game for Pee Dee allowing one goal while stopping six Johnstown shots.

The Chiefs remain unbeaten with a 1-0-3 record. Pee Dee is now 4-1-0.

Next Friday night the Chiefs close out their five game home stand when they host the Reading Royals at 7:00 p.m. The Chiefs will play at Trenton on Saturday November 6th and Wednesday November 10th.
