home opener.
* Eduard Pershin scored the game-tying goal in Charlotte's 3-2 overtime win
against Columbia on Friday.
* Alexandre Burrows leads the Inferno with five goals in four games.
* Head coach Scott White has taken the Inferno to the playoffs all four
years of their existence.
Pee Dee Pride (3-1-0) at Johnstown Chiefs (1-0-2) 7:00 p.m.

* Mark Mullin scored the game-winning overtime goal in the Pride's 3-2 win
against the Chiefs on Friday.
* Goaltender Nick Boucher is unbeaten with a 1.31 goals-against average for
the Pride.
* The Chiefs' Brent Kelly leads the team in assists with five.
* Chiefs begin the season with five home games before going on the road to
face Trenton on November 5.
Reading Royals (0-2-0) at Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies

* The Royals are looking for first win after losing back-to-back games to

* All three Atlantic City games have been decided by one goal.
* Reading has a league-high 11 rookies on its roster.
* Boardwalk Bullies had a crowd of over 4,000 for their 2-1 home opening
loss to Trenton on Friday.
Florida Everblades (3-1-0) at Pensacola Ice Pilots (1-0-0) 7:05 p.m.

* 2003-04 ECHL Defenseman of the Year Corey Neilson has a goal and an
assist for Pensacola.
* Left wing Dwayne Hay scored the game-winning goal for the Ice Pilots in
their opening night victory.
* Everblades' Damien Surma leads the league in goals (6) and points (9).
* Pensacola had a record of 5-2 last season against Florida, who advanced
to the Kelly Cup Finals.
Toledo Storm (3-0-0) at Wheeling Nailers (0-3-0) 7:30 p.m.

* The Nailers look for their first win of the season in their home opener
against the Storm.
* Wheeling went 7-1-1 against the Storm last season.
* Storm goaltender Scott Fankhouser shut out the Nailers 1-0 on October 22.
* Toledo remains undefeated after a 2-1 overtime victory against Peoria on
Friday.
Dayton Bombers (2-2-0) at Peoria Rivermen (1-0-1) 7:00 p.m.

* Dayton won its home opener 5-4 against Wheeling on Friday in front of
over 5,000 fans.
* Peoria defeated the Bombers in their first meeting by a score of 5-2 on
October 22.
* Scott Cameron scored the game-winning goal Friday to give Dayton its
first win of the season.
* Dayton is second in the league with six power-play goals.
Louisiana IceGators (0-1-0) at Texas Wildcatters (1-1-0) 7:05 p.m.

* The IceGators have an all-time record of 13-2-0 against Texas.
* This is the Wildcatters first home game of the season, after splitting
games with Florida on the road.
* Brad Voth scored the game-winning goal last Saturday to give Texas their
first win of the season.
* Todd Gordon is looking for his first win as Louisiana's head coach.
Gwinnett Gladiators (2-0-2) at Mississippi Sea Wolves (1-2-0) 7:35

* The Gladiators lost their home opener on Friday 4-3 in a shootout in
front of a record crowd of 8,586.
* Centers Jeff Campbell and Chris Durno lead the Gladiators in points with
five each.
* Mississippi allowed six goals in its first road game of the season, a 6-3
loss at Florida on Friday.
* The Sea Wolves lost in the Division Semifinals last year to Gwinnett in
five games.
Idaho Steelheads (3-0-0) at Fresno Falcons (0-3-0) 7:00 p.m.

* Jason Cox scored a hat trick for the Steelheads in their 5-2 victory over
Fresno on Friday.
* Curtis Sheptak has 26 penalty minutes in four games for the Falcons.
* Idaho remains undefeated and with eight points is now in first place in
the West Division.
* Fresno has allowed five or more goals in each of their games this season.
San Diego Gulls (1-1-0) at Alaska Aces (1-2-0) 7:15 p.m.

* The Aces won their home opener 3-2 in front of 6,453, the largest crowd
in the team's 10-year history.
* Scott Gomez made his Aces debut, scoring a goal in the shootout and an
assist in regulation.
* League penalty minutes leader Billy Tibbetts scored his second goal of
the season on Friday for San Diego.
* Gulls' right wing Guillaume Fournier leads is tied for the league rookie
lead with five points (3g-2a).
