Moose Re-Assign Nolan to Inferno

The Manitoba Moose announced today forward Brandon Nolan has been re-assigned to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

Nolan, 20, has played in 48 games in his first year as a pro with Manitoba. In that time, he has recorded seven goals and 17 points to go along with 18 penalty minutes. He recorded a team-high six-game points streak in which he scored four goals and seven points from December 26-January 6/04. In eight games with the Inferno earlier this season, Nolan scored three goals and added six assists for nine points and eight PIM.

Previously, the St. Catherines, ON native played three seasons with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. In 177 games with the Generals, he scored 81 goals and 103 assists for 184 points. In 18 career playoff games in Oshawa, he scored 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points.

Nolan was the Vancouver Canucks' fourth choice, 111th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
