Manitoba Moose News Release
The Manitoba Moose have finalized their clear day roster as the American Hockey League clear day roster deadline ended at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 11, 2004.
Only those players listed on the Moose clear day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining four weeks of the AHL regular season and in the Calder Cup 2004 Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension.
Twenty of the 28 teams will qualify for the post-season, with a round of best-of-three qualifying series determining the 16-team field for the Calder Cup 2004 Playoffs, beginning in the third week of April. The remaining four rounds will be a best-of-seven series.
Currently, Manitoba is not in playoff position. The Moose are seventh in the North Division, six points behind the Rochester Americans for fifth and seven points back of the Toronto Roadrunners for fourth in the North Division at 67 points.
There are still seven home games remaining on the Manitoba Moose regular season schedule this year. Tickets are available at all Select-A-Seat outlets and at the Winnipeg Arena box office. Tickets can be ordered by phone by calling Select-A-Seat at (204) 780- SEAT (7328).
