Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact Academy is looking for a few families interested in hosting a young player aged 12 to 14-years-old, who is registered in the club's sport-etudes program for the upcoming scholastic year (2015-2016).
The Academy is looking for families interested in contributing to the future of the club and who live in the areas of Rivière-des-Prairies, Anjou, St-Leonard, Rosemont-La Petite Patrie or within the surrounding areas of Stade Saputo.
In exchange for a monthly sum of $450, the host families must provide a private room with a study area, meals (day and evening) from Monday to Friday starting in August until the following June. Additional compensation will be provided if the player can stay on weekends as well.
Created in 2011, the sport-etudes program is in its fourth year and totals 90 student-athletes this year who come from all four corners of the province. Since its inaugural season, eight players from the Academy have been rewarded for their hard work with MLS contracts with the club's first team.
