Sounders FC continues its three-match home swing on Wednesday, May 27 with a matchup against the Colorado Rapids on the XBOX Pitch at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Coverage for Wednesday's match begins at 6:30 p.m. PT and is being televised locally on JOEtv with Ross Fletcher and Kasey Keller on the call, as well as Jackie Montgomery, Pete Fewing and Steve Zakuani providing pre and post-match coverage. A radio simulcast is taking place on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, with Jason Rantz and Wade Webber in the studio providing post-match radio coverage. El Rey 1360 AM is also airing the match in Spanish, as fans throughout Western Washington can hear "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda on the call tomorrow, with pre-match coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. PT.
Wednesday's match marks the second showdown of the season against Colorado, as well as the second of three matches in nine days for Sounders FC (6-3-2, 20 points). The Rapids (2-2-7, 13 points) are tied for ninth in the Western Conference, but are unbeaten in their last five (1-0-4), including a 1-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday. Overall, Seattle is 12-2-2 all-time against Colorado, including a streak of four-straight wins.
