LA Galaxy Announce New Partnership with O4 Water
May 26, 2015 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
LA Galaxy News Release
The LA Galaxy and O4 water announced today that the oxygen-enriched beverage has been named the official performance water of the LA Galaxy. The partnership is the first-ever Major League Soccer sponsorship for O4 water and coincides with the retail launch of the performance drink.
"Our partnership with O4 speaks to our commitment to proper nutrition and hydration for not only our Galaxy team, but also our younger athletes looking to take their game to the next level," said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein. "It's a win for everyone, and we're looking forward to reaping the benefits of the partnership throughout the season."
Elements of the partnership include in-stadium and digital media, as well as O4 being recognized as the exclusive water of the LA Galaxy team, fueling players as they cool off and strategize in the locker room. The partners will also combine forces to work on community initiatives, and O4 will provide hydration for Galaxy II in USL and the Galaxy Academy, which develops elite athletes & teams by providing an organization of the best people, facilities, resources, methods, and opportunities. Additionally, O4 will be recognized as a partner of the LA Galaxy Soccer Center, an indoor soccer recreational center, located in Torrance, California for the 2015 MLS Season.
"We're excited for this partnership," Dave Hardat, managing partner of O4 Water said. "The Galaxy are defending MLS Cup champions, and we believe in equipping athletes with the tools they need to perform and win at the highest level. Winners run on clean energy, and with the Galaxy being five-time MLS champs, they're the perfect partner for O4's retail launch to consumers."
O4 uses oxygen to enrich their proprietary blend of natural spring water and 41 minerals and electrolytes. It's advanced hydration that re-balances your body with what it actually needs, instead of a quick boost of sugar or caffeine. The water beverage will be available in summer of 2015 at retail locations around Los Angeles.
