MILWAUKEE - In the third of eight meetings between the two teams this season, Cleveland's Lake Erie Monsters were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI by a final score of 3-1. With the loss, the Monsters fell to 17-11-2-2 overall this season and with a .594 points percentage, dropped into fifth place in the AHL's Central Division standings.

The Monsters battled back with an extra-man score of their own at 15:35 of the first when Lake Erie captain Ryan Craig banked his seventh tally of the season off Milwaukee's Jimmy Oligny on feeds from Josh Anderson and T.J. Tynan, but after a scoreless middle frame, the Admirals sealed a 3-1 win with an empty-net marker by Jamie Devane at 19:46 of the third.
Monsters goaltender Joonas Korpisalo made 21 saves in defeat in his first appearance for the Monsters since December 5th while Milwaukee backstop Jusse Saros was named the game's First Star thanks to a 32-save performance that pushed his overall record to 14-3-0 so far this season.
