Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Bring the kids and puppies out for the ballgame!
This Monday is the first day of a three-game series against the Norfolk Tides. It is also the first TD Bank Dog Day of the season! Everyone can celebrate with $1 Berks hot dogs and great bonding time with your favorite furry friends. Don't leave anyone at home tonight because the first 1,500 kids 17-and-under will receive an awesome IronPigs knit cap at the gates. With a 7:05 p.m. start time, Plaza gates are set to open at 5:45 p.m.
Here are some rules and tips to know before heading out for Dog Days:
- The Dog Zone is between the foul poles, from the Plaza to the KidsZone
- All dogs must enter through the East Gate in the Plaza (owner must sign a waiver and pay a $1 per dog fee)
- All dogs must be on a leash
- Water bowls will be placed throughout the Dog Zone
To receive free admission for your dog to each of our Dog Days, and other great benefits, join the Pawparazzi Dog Club presented by Creekview Veterinary Hospital. Click here for details, or to sign up.
Monday is also our first Morning Call Player Autograph Session of the season. The featured players at this signing will be Mitch Walding (3B) and Tom Eshelman (P). Remember, fans get one autograph per player per time through the line. Different players will be signing each Monday throughout the season.
