Monarchs Sign Bissonnette to PTO

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed forward Paul Bissonnette to a professional try out agreement (PTO). He will be available for Manchester's game on Friday at Portland, wearing number 15.

Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcement.

Bissonnette, 29, was released from a PTO by the Pirates on Monday after appearing in eight games with the club. The left winger played in 39 games for the Phoenix Coyotes last season, totaling two goals and six assists. He spent five seasons with the Coyotes from 2009-14, logging 21 points (7 goals, 14 assists) and 318 penalty minutes in 187 games. Selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft (121st overall), he made his NHL debut with the Penguins in 2008-09 by appearing in 15 games.

The Monarchs will play their next four games on the road, beginning with a 7 p.m. contest at Portland on Friday. Their next home game will be on Dec. 19 against Worcester at 7 p.m. For ticket information, visit www.manchestermonarchs.com or call the Monarchs Front Office at (603) 626-7825.
