
Penguins Assign Seymour to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today announced that defenseman Clark Seymour has been returned on loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Seymour made his Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and American Hockey League debut on Dec. 6, collecting an assist in the Penguins' 2-1 loss to the Hershey Bears. Currently in his first season of professional hockey, Seymour has recorded one goal, four assists and 15 penalty minutes over 14 games with the Nailers.
A 21-year old native of Brockville, Ontario, Seymour was originally a fifth-round pick (143rd overall) of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2012. Seymour played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (2009-14) between Peterborough and the Kingston Frontenacs, collecting 57 points (14G-43A) and 272 PIM over 288 contests.
The Penguins are at home on Friday, Dec. 12 when they face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7:05 p.m.
