Blackhawks Assign Morin to Rockford

Chicago, Ill.-The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have assigned forward Jeremy Morin to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League for a conditioning assignment.

Morin, 23, has recorded 28 shots on goal in 15 games with Chicago this season; he has posted 16 points (8G, 8A) in 54 career regular-season games across four seasons (2010-14) with the Blackhawks and added two shots on goal in as many 2014 Stanley Cup Playoff games. The Auburn, N.Y., native has registered 157 points (80g-77a) in 205 career AHL games from 2010-14 with the IceHogs. Morin is Rockford's all-time leading goal scorer.

Next Home Game: Friday, Dec. 26 vs. Iowa Wild. Puck drops at 7 p.m. The IceHogs return home from a six-game swing on the road to take on the Wild at the BMO. Fans 21-and-over can come out early to for another Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party, where they can enjoy free appetizers, live music and drink specials. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
