Manchester Monarchs News Release

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the top affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed a new radio agreement with Absolute Broadcasting to broadcast all games for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons on New Hampshire Sports Radio WGAM "The Game" 1250/900 AM, Monarchs President Jeff Eisenberg announced today.

"We are pleased to partner with Absolute Broadcasting and bring the Monarchs to New Hampshire Sports Radio WGAM," said Eisenberg. "As well as broadcasting our games, WGAM will also air some additional segments for our fans to enjoy."

The Monarchs will be weekly guests on "The Home Team" show that airs Monday - Friday from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monarchs players and personnel will join hosts Mike Mutnansky, Rich Keefe and Pete Tarrier to discuss the team and sports throughout New England. WGAM will also bring feature segments called "Monarchs Minutes" with up-to-date information about the team daily.

The new flagship radio agreement allows WGAM "The Game" to broadcast all 80 regular season Monarchs games as well as the 2009 and 2010 Calder Cup playoffs with the exception of when there are conflicts with the Boston Red Sox or New England Patriots, at which time Monarchs games will be aired on WSMN-Nashua 1590. In addition, every Monarchs regular season and playoff game will be streamed on www.wgamradio.com and www.manchestermonarchs.com. Radio broadcasts will start a half an hour before each game with a preview by Monarchs broadcaster Ken Cail and conclude a half hour following each game with a post-game recap.

"WGAM is proud to team up with a sports franchise like the Manchester Monarchs," said Absolute Broadcasting General Manager Michael Winn. "With the Red Sox and Patriots games already on "The Game", this partnership with the Monarchs further solidifies our position as New Hampshire's home for Sports radio."
