Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today unveiled the team's marketing slogan for the 2008-09 hockey season. "Flames Fever...it's spREDing!" will be used to promote the team throughout the year in promotional campaign and during community appearances.
"We feel that this slogan captures the excitement that the Flames organization is feeling in anticipation of the 2008-09 season," said Flames Chief Executive Officer Neil Bossola. "There is a contagious energy that is spreading amongst our fans and our organization, and we know that energy will spread throughout the community as we get closer to the season."
The organization will continue to spread excitement for the upcoming season with a pair of public appearances this week. On Wednesday, July 16th, Flames mascot, Firestorm, and his crew will be at the BMW Ultimate Drive to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
