MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will be out in the community over the next several days. From schools to restaurants to youth hockey practices, the Monarchs players are dedicated to the New Hampshire community.
Right wings George Parros and Scott Barney will be at the Mall of New Hampshire today, Thursday, December 4 from 3-4 p.m. to celebrate Christmas with WZID. Parros and Barney will sign autographs, meet with fans and be guests of WZID personality Joe Collie on 95.7 FM.
On Tuesday, December 9 captain Richard Seeley and goaltender Adam Hauser will be at South Londonderry School from 1:15 â 2:15 p.m. Seeley and Hauser will talk with the fifth graders about how to set and achieve goals as part of the Monarchs Goals For Success Program.
Defenseman Tim Gleason and right wing Leon Hayward will help coach the Mite Minor & Major AAA youth hockey practice at Tri-Town Ice Arena from 5:40 â 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10. Gleason and Hayward will sign autographs after practice.
The Wild Rover is the place to be on Wednesday, December 10. Left wings Ryan Flinn and Jeff Giuliano, right wing Dan Welch and defenseman Tomas Zizka will dine and sign autographs from 6-8 p.m.
The Catholic Medical Center will host goaltender Milan Hnilicka, center Yanick Lehoux and defensemen Joe Rullier and Bryan Muir on Thursday, December 11. The players will be available to sign autographs and visit with their fans from 1-3 p.m.
The Monarchs return to the friendly confines of the Verizon Wireless Arena when they host the Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, December 5. Friday night is Ladies Night with the Monarchs. The first 4,000 women at the game will receive a free full color Monarchs player calendar, and the first 4,000 ladies 18 and over will also be eligible to win a .75-carat diamond from Bellman's Jewelers. The Monarchs will also welcome the Providence Bruins to the Verizon Wireless Arena at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, and the Utah Grizzlies at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, December 12.
Fri., Dec. 5 vs. Lowell: Gold Level: Single seats. Silver Level: 1,500 seats.
Sat., Dec. 6 vs. Providence: Gold Level: Sold Out. Silver Level: 700 seats.
