Springfield Falcons Announce Finalists for 10th Anniversary Team

Springfield, MA â The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced the finalists for the franchise's 10th Anniversary Team. The top two vote recipients at each position over the past five weeks of fan voting through the Falcons' web site comprise the finalists for the team. The final rounds of voting for the Falcons' 10th Anniversary Team, which is sponsored by The Republican, begin today at www.falconsahl.com.
The finalists for the Falcons' 10th Anniversary Team are as follows:
Center â Daniel Briere and Rob Murray
Left wing â Ramzi Abid and Jean-Guy Trudel
Right wing â Tavis Hansen and Reggie Savage
Left defense â Dan Focht and Martin Grenier
Right defense â John Stevens and Brad Tiley
Goaltender â Robert Esche and Manny Legace
Beginning today fans can cast a vote for either Daniel Briere or Rob Murray for the center position of the Falcons' 10th Anniversary Team. Final voting for the center position will last until December 9th. Fans will subsequently be able to make their choice at left wing (12/10 â 12/14), right wing (12/15 â 12/19), left defense (12/20 â 12/25), right defense (12/26 â 12/30), and goaltender (12/31 â 1/4). The Springfield Falcons' 10th Anniversary Team will be announced on January 5th.
