HEAD OF THE CLASS

The Monarchs enter tonight's game tops in the Eastern Conference with 23 points through their first 16 games. The winner of tonight's game will leave SNHU Arena in pole position as the best team in the Conference.

MOST SINCE...

The seven goals the Monarchs rung up on the Everblades on Wednesday night were the most allowed by the squad from Estero, Fla. since Feb. 6, 2016, when South Carolina lit the lamp eight times in an 8-1 win.

MAKING ADJUSTMENTS

Manchester has come out of the 1st intermission hot this season, as their 30 goals in the middle frame are the most in the ECHL, and their +10 goal differential is 2nd highest in the league. The Monarchs have also scored 50% of their total goals in the second period, having scored 15 goals in both the first and third periods.

STREAKS

The Monarchs have been getting scoring contributions up and down their roster, but two players have been hot of late. Monarchs captain, David Kolomatis, is riding a four-game point streak (2g, 5a) and ranks 3rd in the league with 15 points. Quentin Shore is just as hot, recording 10 points in his last six games, including two goals and three assists in his last three games. The Monarchs rookie finds himself tied for 3rd in scoring amongst all first-year skaters.

YOU SHALL NOT PASS

Monarchs goaltender, Sam Brittain, continues to dominate during his time in Manchester, as the assignee from the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL) has vaulted into 5th place in the ECHL with a 2.36 GAA, and is 2nd amongst active goaltenders, chasing only C.J. Motte of Quad City (1.92 GAA). Brittain's eight wins are tied for second in the league and the Monarchs netminder is riding a five-game winning streak.
