Fuel Trade for Kelly Cup Champion Tristan King

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs announced Thursday that they have acquired forward Tristan King in a trade with the Allen Americans in exchange for future considerations.

King, 26, comes to Indianapolis after scoring one goal and one assist in seven games with the Americans so far this season. The 6-foot, 170-pound center is in his seventh year in the ECHL, compiling 190 points (76g, 114a) in 272 career games spent among nine different teams. In 2015-16, King tallied 33 points (14g, 19a) and an additional 10 points in the postseason to help the Americans to their second consecutive Kelly Cup title. The native of Elk River, Minn. appeared in 11 AHL contests during his rookie season back in 2010-11 with the Texas Stars.
