OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals will be treating Moms like queens on Mother's Day this Sunday at Rosenblatt Stadium. The Royals face the Tacoma Rainiers in a 1:35 p.m. game and when the stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m., all moms will be invited to register for several prize drawings, including a couple of trips to a fun, family vacation destination in Kansas City.

The random drawings will select moms to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and to take part in between-inning contests on the field. Two lucky mothers will win trips to Kansas City's Great Wolf Lodge.

"We're excited to thank all mothers who come to Sunday's game for everything they do," said Royals Director of Marketing Rob Crain. "What we have planned for this Sunday is to express a small token of our appreciation."

Like every Sunday home game, this Sunday is U.S. Bank Family FunDAY, when all kids are invited to run the bases after the game. For this Sunday, their moms will be invited to run along side them, also presented by KGBI-100.7 FM and KPTM-Fox 42.

And, like every Sunday home game during the team's 2008 season, all Royals Kids Club members receive a free ticket to the game, courtesy of SUBWAY.

For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com.
