Northern Colorado Owlz News Release

OREM - Tonight ended as a tough loss for the Owlz as their bats were muzzled by Osprey pitching. Starting pitcher Bo Takahashi moved to 6-0 on the season after throwing six innings, giving up three earned, while striking out three. Orem was limited to three runs on seven hits, falling to 31-19 on the season.

Isan Diaz and Marcus Wilson got the Osprey started tonight early in the first inning after reaching on an error and hit respectively. Both would come around to score the first two runs of the game after the Owlz finished the inning recording two errors.

Missoula extended their lead to 6-0 before the Owlz scored two of their own in the bottom of the 4th to cut into the lead. Over the next two innings, the Owlz bullpen held the Osprey offense silent and would score one more run in the 6th inning as Jared Foster smoked one over the left field wall. However, that would conclude the Owlz scoring for the evening.

Missoula went on to score two more runs in the 7th and would finish the game with an 8-3 victory. This ties the series at 1-1 as the Owlz look to come out win tomorrow, keeping alive their streak of never having lost a series this season.
