April 15, 2024 - Windsor, CO - The Northern Colorado Owlz have announced a new partnership with US Sports Camps, the licensed operator of Nike Sports Camps, to deliver a first-of-its-kind Nike Baseball Camp at Future Legends Field this summer.
Kids ages 7-13 will have the opportunity to "camp like a pro" and experience a week as an Owlz player. They will train at Future Legends Park and be instructed by current Owlz manager, Frank Gonzales, as well as additional Owlz coaches and players. April 11, 2024 - WINDSOR, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Owlz have signed right-handed pitcher Chase Gearing for the 2024 season.
Gearing went to the NCAA Tournament with Nicholls in 2023 after helping the Colonels win both the regular season and tournament titles in the Southland Conference.
"Chase has some good experience," Owlz manager Frank Gonzales said. "We hope his long frame can create good deception in the Pioneer League."

Herrera comes to the Owlz from Lubbock Christian University, where he played for five seasons.
"Shandon has some tryout experience in the Pioneer League. We hope he brings an added arm with some versatility," Owlz manager Frank Gonzales said

March 28, 2024 - WINDSOR, Colo. - Jacob McCaskey, a right-handed pitcher and infielder, has signed with the Northern Colorado Owlz for the 2024 season.
McCaskey finished his college career at Gardner-Webb University after playing four years at California (PA).
He played in 198 games as a hitter in college, batting .313/.382/.536 with 28 home runs and 160 RBI. He also stole 28 bases and played all four infield positions, primarily at shortstop.
