Minnesota Wild Recalls Christian Folin from Iowa

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled defenseman Christian Folin (pronounced FOE-lin) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Folin, 24 (2/9/91), has collected two assists and nine penalty minutes (PIM) in 14 games with Minnesota this season and nine points (3-6=9) in 15 contests with Iowa. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, owns 13 points (2-11), 22 PIM and a plus-7 rating in 55 career NHL contests with the Wild.
