GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today the club has transferred French forward Adrien Hunou to Angers SCO of the French First Division. This opens up a Designated Player and international roster spot for Minnesota come July 1.
Hunou joined Minnesota United in April of 2021 as a Designated Player after spending almost his entire professional career in the Stade Rennais system, where he's scored 38 goals in seven seasons. In his time with Minnesota, Hunou scored eight goals and three assists in 38 games. Hunou began his professional career in 2012, making his first team appearance that same year. In his career, Hunou has made appearances in Champions League, Coupe de France, Coupe de Ligue and Europa League.
